Ok I am going away from what I originally intended for this blog to be today, and maybe for a while.  Originally I intended for this blog to be a place I could rant about work, politics and life in general......but I am slowly coming to the realization that there really isn't a lot of things out there that "get my goat".  If I had a goat to get that is.  So today I think I will write about some of the things I have learned in the 26 short years I have been on this earth.

First up, I have learned that some of the best things in life are free.  I mean think about it, watching the sunrise or sunset is one of the most tranquil things I havedone and it sisnt cost me a penny.  Then there is playing football in the mud and the rain.  If you haven't done it, it is one of the funnest things to do so go for it, and again not a penny spent.

I have also learned that it is better to earn what you have instead of having it handed to you.  Dont get me wrong I am not rich or have dillusions of being rich, but if I get there I know it will not be handed to me.  I have worked for a great many things in my life, and to me when you strive so hard for something and finally get it, that is one of the better feelings in the world.

I have also learned that some of the best things in life are worth waiting for.  For example, having a crush on someone, waiting for the right time to ask them on a date, and then waiting for the first kiss.  It may be a little awkward but definitely the best kiss of any relationship.

I have learned that time is fleeting.  You never know when your time is up, so live it up.  Never go to sleep at night with any regrets, because there is nothing you can do about it anyway.  As the line goes from Hitch "Start each morning like it was on purpose."
