Well what can I say it's been a coupla days so I guess I will post.......
Well I just started actually writing on my myspace account so if I dont post here there will usually be a post there.
Ok I have had a discussion the last coupla days with some people about pet peeves......and I really thought that I had none. But I have come to the realization that I at least have 2 pet peeves. The first one is do not under any circumstance treat me like I am and idiot. Dont get me wrong I do not know everything, but according to some tests I have taken I am not stupid. You know like the saying goes "A smart man realizes he knows nothing". Ok tht is a minor peeve of mine.
The other one is having religous zealots preach at me. I will give you this background information about me. I grew up in the church. I was a youth pastor, and I was on track to go to seminary through the church. I do not under any circumstance need to be preached at. I know what the Bible says, I understand what a lot of it is saying, do not preach to me. You may say how can you say such things when you were what you were. Very simple, here is my religous philosophy. I believe there is a higher power out there, there is just too much that science says we have to take as accident or coincidence. I am just not sure it is the one referred as YHWH in the old testament. I do not and I repeat do not need to be preached at. I do not need to be converted. I do not need to be saved. I do not need to turn my heart over to Jesus, or Buddha, or Mohammed for that mattter.
Well that is my semi-weekly rant take it as you will........long days and pleasant nights..........late
